Some of our more recent work

CES 2012

One of the busiest displays at the CES show this year was the Reliant NRG booth. Featuring the first ever electric Delorean automobile, you would expect Marty McFly crusing in it.

We were asked to integrate a list of varied items to display in the RV. We worked with the designers, making changes as necessary to make the items harmonious with the look and feel of a real home. Since this was an RV that was built for demonstration and not for living in, most of the items were not working. Add a next to impossible deadline that could not be missed and you can see the intensity of work required. Seven days a week were spent late into the night to complete the project.

The Booth

The booth was very large, with electronics everywhere. It was not noticeable, but there was two networks running a total of more than 16 computers including a local server.

The Electric DeLorean

First of its kind, this car drew a lot of attention. Reliant was showcasing their ability to supply power stations for electric vehicles.

The RV

A very tight schedule, this Automated Home of the Future on Wheels was completed in time for the show.

Welcome inside

The five AMX touch screens allowed control of the 27 automated appliances and devices within the RV. This included a Lutron Lighting Control System, Lutron Cellular Shades and Thermostat, a Home Theater, Toaster, Water Heater, etc. - everything except the kitchen Sink.

The Playground

The longer you ride, the more energy is created by the generators. The amount of energy created was tracked. Displays showed in real time the point leaders. Information was trasmitted to a computer that calculated the information and then sent it across the network for the other displays.

The Set Up

Two of our techs are installing new drivers and setting up the 12 touch monitors.
